Thanks to our partnership with Aarviken, this technology is now available to optical stores in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Headrix combines exceptional wearing comfort and modern design with sustainable production, using recyclable materials and 3D printing without overproduction.
HEADRIX was founded in 2018 as a fusion of entrepreneurial vision and innovative thinking. Its founder, Stanislav Gempel, explored additive manufacturing during his academic studies, writing a thesis focused on alternative business models in the field of 3D printing. He later combined this theoretical foundation with over a decade of hands-on experience in the optical industry to create his own brand, dedicated to custom-made eyewear.
Since 2005, he has also been building a successful distribution network for premium Nordic and French eyewear brands through New Line Optik. HEADRIX became his own venture — a brand focused on sustainable production, thoughtful design, and local manufacturing.
HEADRIX frames are produced in Bavaria using high-quality powder-based material supplied by EOS, a leading German company in industrial 3D printing. The result is a zero-waste frame with a patented screwless construction known as the “Thin Line.”
Today, the collection includes 85 models and is available in over 800 optical stores across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. HEADRIX continues to grow in popularity and is becoming one of the most favored brands in the sustainable and design-driven eyewear segment.
